NEW DELHI: Israel has on Saturday stepped in its offensive with fresh air strikes targeting Gaza strip, following clashes killing several Palestinians.
Israeli army, however, said that rockets were first fired from the Palestinian residential enclave despite a ceasefire started back on Thursday.
Interestingly, according to army, the new strikes were aimed at two Hamas sites, while the militant group Islamic Jihad has been spared.
Tuesday, Israel’s armed forces killed t 42-year-old Bahaa Abu al-Ata, a top Islamic Jihad commander.
The bomb strikes on early Thursday killed eight individuals, including five children.
Some of the Twitter users posted fresh videos showing Israel’s strikes on schools as well as hospitals.

Meanwhile, on November 15, @yosighh on Twitter said, “A Palestinian girl lost her parents as a result of the Israeli shelling of her home in Gaza. She is crying but the conscience of the world is silent in condemning Israel’s crimes.”
Friday, Israel said that it would probe harm caused to civilians from air raids it carried out.
