NEW DELHI: Finnish telecom gear maker Nokia Wednesday showcased fifth generation or 5G technology, as a part of Innovation Day series.
“Nokia is hosting a series of Innovation Days in India to showcase how the 5G technology can transform the way people live and work as well as enhance the industrial productivity in India,” it said in a statement.
The Future X Network, according to the multinational, will trigger the fourth Industrial Revolution that profoundly changes how people live, and how cities, enterprises, and industries run.
Nokia, similar to its rivals, is also shaping the 5G-ready and cloud-led network transformation to drive innovation for telecom service providers.
The equipment provider said that it would also demonstrate the unique benefits of Ultra-Reliable Low Latency Communications (URLLC) through 5G to consumer applications such as online gaming, immersive entertainment, and haptic capabilities.
The company is providing the enablers to improve business efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction within various vertical industries, it added.
