NEW DELHI: Spice Mobility Limited Tuesday reported revenue growth of 34% to Rs 376.68 crore in FY 2018-19 over the previous year, and posted a net profit of Rs 9.08 crore on year.
Spice Board has also recommended a dividend of 15% of the paid-up equity capital of the company for the year ended March 31, 2019, subject to shareholders’ approval, it said in a statement.
The company has also rebranded to a digital service delivery firm DiGiSPICE Technologies.
“DiGiSPICE Technologies, with a pedigree of digital, aims to work closely as partners with telcos and enterprises across developing and developed markets in enabling their digital transformation journey,” company’s chairman said.
Modi further said that Spice Money, a wholly owned subsidiary of DiGiSPICE Technologies, was working to financially empower a billion people in India using digital platforms.
More than 5 million customers, according to the company’s top executive, are availing financial services at these Spice Money customer service points every month.
“We are committed to building DiGiSPICE Technologies into a leading next-gen digital services and products company in the emerging new technologies space” he added.
The Delhi-based firm also said that it has completed a demerger process through a scheme of arrangement that has been duly approved by National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).
