Servotech bags contract to install 11 DC Fast EV charging stations across Karnataka

NEW DELHI:  Servotech has secured a contract from Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) to build 11 DC Fast EV charging stations. The project aims to expand the electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across Karnataka, with installations planned at 11 Regional Transport Office (RTO) premises.

The initiative marks a significant step toward boosting the state’s charging network, making it more convenient for EV users to charge their vehicles. The charging stations, part of Karnataka’s broader push to promote green mobility, will serve multiple regions, enhancing access for EV owners.

Sarika Bhatia, Director of Servotech Power Systems Ltd., said, “We are glad to be working on this project for BESCOM. As a leading player in the EV sector, this initiative brings us closer to our collective goal of transforming India into an EV-powered nation.”

Servotech will handle the complete execution of the project, from planning and design to installation, ensuring that the charging stations meet safety and performance standards. The company will also manage warranty support and power supply arrangements.

This contract follows Servotech’s recent collaboration with ANERT and highlights its growing role in India’s EV infrastructure. The company plans to continue expanding its presence by partnering with other nodal agencies and DISCOMs across the country.
