NEW DELHI: The Board of Directors of JSW MG Motor India Private Limited has appointed Parth Jindal as Chairman of the company, with immediate effect.

Jindal has been a member of the board of JSW MG Motor India since the formation of the joint venture and has played a key role in shaping the company’s product strategy, manufacturing expansion and localisation programme.

In his expanded role as Chairman, Jindal will work with the leadership team to strengthen the company’s growth strategy and deepen its presence in India’s rapidly evolving automotive market.

Jindal currently serves as Managing Director of JSW Cement and JSW Paints, Chairman of JSW Dulux Limited, Chairman of JSW MG Motor India, and a Director on the Board of JSW Energy. He is also the Founder of JSW Sports and Chairman and Co-Owner of the Delhi Capitals cricket team.

The appointment comes as JSW MG Motor India continues to expand its portfolio and manufacturing capabilities in India, with a focus on localisation and new-generation mobility technologies.
