Wardwizard signs MoU with Xicon to lease 7,500 electric scooters

NEW DELHI: Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd. has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with XiCon International Ltd. to lease up to 7,500 Wolf+ electric scooters over the next two years. This strategic partnership aims to enhance last-mile delivery services in major Indian cities, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Pune. The deployment is set to commence in the 2025–26 financial year and continue through 2026–27. 

Under the agreement, Wardwizard will provide the electric scooters, along with comprehensive technical support, including batteries, spare parts, and maintenance services. Additionally, service-cum-charging stations will be established, and co-branded service centers will be set up to ensure efficient operations. XiCon International will manage operational aspects such as fleet allocation, partnerships with delivery platforms, app development, and marketing campaigns. Both companies will jointly conduct training programs for riders to ensure safe and efficient usage.

This collaboration marks XiCon International's entry into the electric mobility sector and supports Wardwizard's commitment to promoting sustainable urban mobility solutions. The partnership is expected to contribute significantly to reducing carbon emissions and enhancing the efficiency of urban logistics. Wardwizard's Chairman & Managing Director, Yatin Gupte, expressed confidence in expanding the initiative to additional cities by the end of the year.
