Contentstack names new CFO to drive growth

NEW DELHI: Contentstack, a leading headless content management system (CMS) and digital experience platform, has announced the appointment of Josette Leslie as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Leslie brings over 25 years of financial leadership experience across the content management, fintech, and banking sectors. She succeeds David Overmyer, a founding member of Contentstack’s leadership team, who is retiring from his executive role but will continue to serve on the company's Board of Directors.

Based in New York City, Leslie has held senior financial roles at prominent firms. She spent seven years at Squarespace, where she was instrumental in scaling finance operations and supporting the company's IPO in 2021. She also served as CFO at CAIS, an alternative investment platform, and at Affinity, an enterprise CRM platform. Earlier in her career, Leslie held leadership positions at E*TRADE Financial and Instinet, contributing to their financial planning and analysis functions during critical growth phases.

Neha Sampat, founder and CEO of Contentstack, expressed confidence in Leslie's appointment, stating, "Josette brings a rare combination of deep industry understanding, operational insight for fast-growing SaaS companies like Contentstack, and a values-driven leadership style that aligns with our culture. Her proven track record of delivering results with strategic vision, strong leadership, and a positive culture will be invaluable as we continue to grow Contentstack and drive the market forward."

Leslie shared her enthusiasm for joining Contentstack, noting, "I’ve seen firsthand how financial and operational excellence can accelerate innovation, and that’s the edge I see in Contentstack. But what ultimately drew me to Contentstack was the caliber of the team and its mission to modernize digital experiences and empower people to do their best work. I look forward to working alongside the team and playing an integral role in shaping that future."

In addition to her professional achievements, Leslie is committed to fostering innovation and diversity. She serves on the Board of Directors of Women in Innovation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women as innovators and changemakers.

Contentstack's appointment of Leslie as CFO underscores the company's commitment to strategic growth and leadership in the digital experience sector.
