S&P Global strengthens India presence with new hub in Gurugram
NEW DELHI: S&P Global has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art office in Downtown Gurugram, reinforcing its long-term commitment to India as a strategic hub for global talent and innovation.
The new 1,90,000 sq. ft. facility will accommodate over 3,500 employees operating in a hybrid work model across technology, data, operations, and customer success functions. With more than 16,000 employees already based in India, the expansion underscores the country’s growing importance in S&P Global’s global strategy.
Senior leaders including Saugata Saha, Yann Le Pallec, and Seth Fox were present at the inauguration.
Highlighting India’s role, Saha noted that the country remains a key growth market and a vital center of talent supporting the company’s mission of delivering essential intelligence globally.
The new workspace is designed to boost productivity, sustainability, and employee wellbeing, featuring advanced amenities such as interactive client experience zones, a podcast studio, IT-enabled workspaces, creative collaboration areas, and wellness facilities including a gym, nap pods, and a large cafeteria.
Nilam Patel said the office reflects a “people-first” approach, combining technology with human-centric design to foster innovation and collaboration.
The Gurugram hub will support multiple divisions, including S&P Global Market Intelligence, Ratings, and Enterprise Data Organisation, while also complementing the presence of CRISIL in India.
The new facility aligns with S&P Global’s broader growth strategy in India, focusing on high-value job creation, skill development, and strengthening its role in delivering data-driven insights to clients worldwide.
