NEW DELHI: Global payments technology company Visa has appointed Suresh Sethi as the Group Country Manager for India and South Asia, strengthening its leadership team in one of its fastest-growing markets.

In his new role, Sethi will be responsible for driving Visa’s business strategy, expanding digital payment adoption, and strengthening partnerships across India and the South Asia region. His appointment comes at a time when the region is witnessing rapid growth in digital transactions and fintech innovation.

Sethi brings extensive experience in the banking and financial services sector, having held leadership roles across digital payments, cards, and retail banking. His expertise is expected to support Visa’s efforts in deepening market penetration and accelerating the shift towards a less-cash economy.
