PM Modi holds delegation-level talks with Israeli PM Netanyahu, boosts strategic partnership

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held delegation-level talks with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu during his official visit to Israel, with both sides reviewing the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and agreeing to deepen cooperation across key sectors.

The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration in defence, homeland security, agriculture, water management, innovation, digital technologies and trade, while also exploring new opportunities in emerging areas such as artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing. The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further expand the India–Israel comprehensive strategic partnership and enhance people-to-people ties.

Both countries also exchanged views on regional and global developments, underlining the importance of peace, stability and coordinated efforts to address shared security challenges. The high-level engagement is expected to give fresh momentum to ongoing joint initiatives and pave the way for new agreements in critical sectors.
