NEW DELHI: JSW Greentech Limited, the commercial electric vehicle arm of the JSW Group, has launched AMPSTAR, a new brand focused on designing, manufacturing and selling electric buses and trucks in India.

The new brand will carry the group’s endorsement as “AMPSTAR: powered by JSW” and is positioned as a full-stack commercial mobility offering designed to address the broader requirements of fleet operators transitioning to electric vehicles.

Beyond electric vehicles, AMPSTAR will provide an integrated ecosystem covering charging infrastructure, operating solutions, financing options and after-sales support. The company said the approach is aimed at addressing the complete customer journey and enabling commercial vehicle operators to adopt electric mobility with greater confidence.

With the launch, JSW Greentech is expanding its presence in India’s growing commercial electric mobility segment, with AMPSTAR set to focus on electric buses and trucks and supporting solutions for their operation and deployment.
