Kailash Deepak Hospital organizes free mega health check-up camp, promotes preventive healthcare

NEW DELHI: Kailash Deepak Hospital, Delhi, organized a Free Mega Health Check-up Camp and Health Awareness Programme, bringing together Resident Welfare Association (RWA) representatives, community leaders and local residents to promote preventive healthcare and early disease detection. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation, with hundreds of people benefiting from complimentary health screenings, specialist consultations and awareness sessions.

A major highlight of the programme was a Cancer Awareness Session conducted by the hospital's Oncology Team, which emphasized the importance of early diagnosis, cancer prevention, common warning signs and advances in treatment. The experts also interacted with participants, addressing their queries and dispelling common myths associated with cancer.

The event also featured an expert lecture by Dr. Satish Bhardwaj on Weight Management and Healthy Lifestyle, where he stressed the importance of balanced nutrition, regular physical activity and sustainable lifestyle changes to prevent obesity and lifestyle-related diseases.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Founder Chairman, Kailash Healthcare, underlined the importance of preventive healthcare and timely diagnosis in improving patient outcomes.
