The LEGO Group opens its first LEGO Certified Store in Hyderabad
NEW DELHI: The LEGO Group has opened its first LEGO Certified Store in Hyderabad at Inorbit Mall, marking a new milestone in the toy brand's retail expansion in India. Launched in partnership with the Ample Group, the 3,500-square-foot store offers customers a range of LEGO products, interactive experiences and locally inspired designs.
The Hyderabad launch marks the LEGO Group's eighth Certified Store in India and its fourth store opening in 2026, following earlier openings in Mumbai and Bengaluru. The new retail destination is designed to bring LEGO fans and families together through creative play, building activities and a wide selection of LEGO sets.
Located at Inorbit Mall, the new store offers more than 750 LEGO sets and life-size builds inspired by Hyderabad. Visitors can explore a selection of products while engaging with interactive features designed to encourage creativity and hands-on building.
One of the highlights of the launch is a Hyderabad-inspired LEGO mosaic created by master builder Ritam Bhatnagar. The mosaic uses 49,200 LEGO bricks and measures 7 feet by 5 feet. It features recognizable landmarks and cultural elements, including the Charminar, Hussain Sagar Lake and an Irani chai stall.
The store also includes a Pick-a-Brick wall, play tables and Build-a-Mini stations, offering visitors opportunities to create and customize their LEGO builds.
The Hyderabad opening forms part of the LEGO Group's continuing retail expansion in India. The company is working with the Ample Group to develop its Certified Store network and bring its products and customer experiences to additional cities.
Bhavana Mandon, Country Manager, LEGO India, said Hyderabad's cultural richness and growing community of families seeking shared experiences made it a natural location for the new store.
Rajesh Narang, Founder and CEO of Ample Group, highlighted the company's retail expansion and partnership with global brands. The collaboration aims to develop experience-led retail destinations that connect consumers with well-known international brands.
Indian actor and entrepreneur Rana Daggubati officially inaugurated the store and unveiled the special Hyderabad-themed LEGO mosaic. The opening celebrations included LEGO-themed activities, building challenges and events for families and fans.
The launch is intended to offer customers more than conventional shopping, with an emphasis on creativity, discovery and shared experiences. The store's design and activities connect the LEGO brand with Hyderabad's cultural identity and interest in entertainment and creative expression.
The opening of Hyderabad's first LEGO Certified Store at Inorbit Mall strengthens the LEGO Group's retail presence in India and expands access to its products and interactive experiences. With its Hyderabad-inspired mosaic, diverse LEGO sets and hands-on activities, the new store introduces an experience-focused retail format for families, children and LEGO enthusiasts.
The launch also highlights the continuing development of branded retail destinations in India's growing consumer market.
