Tech Mahindra advances to fourth rank among India-headquartered IT services firms in brand strength
NEW DELHI: Tech Mahindra has strengthened its global brand standing by advancing to the fourth rank among IT services firms headquartered in India and securing the ninth position globally in the Brand Strength Index (BSI), according to the latest Brand Finance IT Services 25 Report 2026.
Tech Mahindra’s brand valuation rose to USD 3.4 billion in 2026, with its brand rating maintained at AA+, while its BSI score improved year-on-year to 78.1, reflecting sustained momentum in brand equity and market perception.
Brand Finance’s annual assessment benchmarks IT services brands worldwide across parameters such as brand strength, customer familiarity, consideration, reputation and long-term growth prospects. Tech Mahindra also moved up to the ninth position among the strongest brands in the Top 25 Most Valuable IT Services Brands globally, placing it among the top five companies with the largest gains in BSI rankings.
Commenting on the achievement, Peeyush Dubey, Chief Marketing Officer, Tech Mahindra, said the recognition reinforces the company’s “Scale at Speed” promise and reflects the impact of its brand refresh and global brand-building initiatives, including properties such as the Global Chess League. He added that Tech Mahindra’s “AI Delivered Right” strategy is focused on responsible, scalable innovation aligned with real business outcomes.
In 2025, Tech Mahindra unveiled a refreshed brand identity to mark its 39th anniversary, highlighting its future-ready positioning in the era of AI and digital transformation. The updated visual identity, anchored by a modern design language and a distinctive ‘lozenge’ symbol inspired by the Mahindra Group’s Rise beam, underscores the company’s ambition to strengthen its global brand relevance.
David Haigh, Chairman and CEO of Brand Finance, noted that Tech Mahindra’s improved ranking and record-high BSI score reflect a clear strategy centred on innovation, responsible AI adoption, and deeper stakeholder engagement, enhancing the company’s resilience in an increasingly competitive global IT services market.
