NEW DELHI: STL Networks Limited, a digital infrastructure services company operating under the Invenia brand, has approved the incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary focused on its data centre connectivity business.

The proposed subsidiary will support STL Networks’ data centre expansion strategy and cater to the growing connectivity requirements of hyperscalers, data centre operators and enterprises. The move is part of the company’s broader plans to strengthen its presence in the expanding data centre market.

As data centre campuses increase in scale and complexity, reliable connectivity between data centres, cloud platforms, enterprise networks and telecom infrastructure has become an important requirement. STL Networks said the new subsidiary will enable it to develop a dedicated platform for meeting these connectivity needs.

The wholly owned subsidiary will build and own digital infrastructure and obtain the relevant telecom licences required to provide connectivity services to customers. It will also enable STL Networks to develop an integrated offering covering infrastructure and connectivity services across the data centre lifecycle.

Chandrasekhara Rao Battula, Whole Time Director and Interim Chief Executive Officer, Invenia-STL Networks Limited, said the company sees an opportunity to extend its digital infrastructure capabilities into connectivity and support data centre operators, hyperscalers and enterprises as their requirements continue to grow.

The new subsidiary is expected to strengthen STL Networks’ presence across the AI data centre ecosystem and provide a focused platform to pursue connectivity-led opportunities alongside its existing digital infrastructure business.
