Tech Mahindra partners with Perplexity to enhance AI-powered sales and customer engagement

NEW DELHI: Tech Mahindra has partnered with artificial intelligence company Perplexity to integrate AI-powered intelligence across its sales organisation, aiming to strengthen customer engagement and improve sales effectiveness. As part of the collaboration, the company will deploy Perplexity Enterprise Pro to equip its sales and customer-facing teams with real-time, source-backed business, industry and technology insights.

The AI platform will enable Tech Mahindra's customer partners and senior sales leaders to quickly access reliable information, better understand customer priorities, identify emerging business opportunities and provide more contextual solutions. The company said the deployment would reduce research time, improve productivity and enhance the quality of customer interactions throughout the sales cycle.

Tech Mahindra CEO and Managing Director Mohit Joshi said artificial intelligence is transforming the way enterprises engage with customers and create value. He noted that integrating Perplexity Enterprise Pro into the company's sales processes would help teams make informed decisions, deliver more impactful solutions and reinforce the company's commitment to leveraging AI across the enterprise.

Perplexity CEO and Co-founder Aravind Srinivas said Tech Mahindra's global enterprise expertise, combined with Perplexity Enterprise Pro, would enable sales teams to access fast, trusted and source-backed answers when engaging with customers.
