Bounteous x Accolite hosts Agile Network India Chennai meetup on data and digital trust

NEW DELHI: Bounteous x Accolite collaborated with Agile Network India to host the Chennai Chapter community meetup titled ‘Beyond Clicks: Data, Decisions and Digital Trust’, bringing together more than 40 technology leaders, agile practitioners and strategists to discuss the future of data-driven decision-making and digital trust. The event took place in Chennai on February 28, 2026, focusing on how organisations can strengthen governance, enhance decision intelligence and build trust in increasingly AI-enabled environments.

The discussions explored how companies are moving beyond traditional engagement metrics toward intelligence-led digital ecosystems. A key theme was the growing challenge of balancing personalisation with privacy, as organisations strive to deliver seamless digital experiences while addressing concerns around surveillance, visibility and potential data misuse. Experts highlighted the need for responsible data usage, AI-ready architectures and trust-centric frameworks integrated into agile operating models.

Among the speakers, Vidhya Chandrasekaran, Engineering Manager at Google, introduced the concept of “Zero Retention Agents”, emphasising AI systems designed with privacy-by-design principles. She argued that intelligent systems should minimise long-term data storage and instead rely on short-term context, giving users greater control over what information is retained.

Santhosh Kumar Kannan, Founder and Investor at Advanced Automation Labs, shared insights on the use of AI for feature prioritisation, customer targeting, capital allocation and strategic decision-making, highlighting the role of data in shaping business agility.

Another session by Manasa Rajaram, Director of Analytics at Bounteous x Accolite, emphasised the need for enterprises to rethink data lifecycle management as AI adoption accelerates. She noted that organisations must design systems that provide clarity, control and confidence to users while ensuring that analytics and privacy can coexist through intentional architecture.

The discussions concluded that trust in AI systems must be built through transparent data handling, consent frameworks and granular deletion rights rather than treated merely as a compliance requirement. Participants also examined practical scenarios such as anonymous browsing versus logged-in personalisation to understand how identity changes the data ecosystem.

Closing the session, Anuradha Balasubramanian, EVP – Delivery at Bounteous x Accolite, said engagement with practitioner communities helps organisations stay connected to real-world challenges. She added that as AI and analytics scale across enterprises, the key competitive advantage will lie in building systems that deliver insights responsibly while safeguarding user trust.

The meetup concluded with interactive discussions and networking sessions, strengthening collaboration within the regional agile and technology community.
